Week 1 Update

Good morning!!!

Today is the official end of my first week back on the Michael Thurmond Six Week Body Makeover (SWBM) program. I first started the program in 2003 after my 60th birthday, lost over 140 lbs., was sent to CA to do an infomercial with my long-time friend Margaret (Brown Bear on Provida), and then was overwhelmed by about 27 deaths of my mother, 3 of my closest friends, and all my immediate family in a 26 month period, which resulted in falling off the wagon into depression. Being an emotional eater, you can guess what happened. That was followed by the return of high cholesterol and triglycerides, weak muscles, and in general, bad health.

So, I am here today to change all those negatives into something positive. Although I was not totally POP (Perfectly On Plan) this past week, here are my results:

Weight loss: 6.6 lbs
Measurement Loss: (8.5 inches in 5 measuring spots)

Chest: 1 inch
Biceps Left: 1.5 inches
Biceps Rt: 1 inch
Waist: 4 inches (Typical for me...I always lose here first!)
Hips: 1 inch
