2009 Re-start Week 7
This was a losing week! YEA!!!! Not as much as I would have liked, but considering I went to a luncheon on Tuesday, I guess the fact that it was a losing week is good. I did eat small quantities, but nothing that was offered (pot luck) was on plan. At least by eating the smaller quantities and skipping a couple of items, I did lose. The amount for week 7 was .6 lb for a total of 19 lbs. and 2.25 inches over all, for a total of 47.75 inches lost since Jan. 2. I have lost almost a size!!!! I looked back over my comments on my measurement chart and saw that there were 4 times during the first six weeks that I ate off plan. Those times really do interfere, but you cannot withdraw from life, so we have to learn how to deal with it. I try to have 2 salad meals a day on the day of and the day following a meal off like that. I don't allow them to be back to back meals/snacks, so I usually replace two of my snack meals with a lettuce salad, a little bit of chopped chicken breast, some sliced strawberries, a small amount of red onion chopped and my dressing. I also try to add at least 1-2 extra glasses of water to help wash the salts, etc. from the off plan foods.
Take care and keep trying. The only failure is the person who didn't keep trying!!!!!!!! Liz
