This past week, I have finally gotten my exercise routine down to the point where I'm satisfied with my efforts. Since I have two different audio walking tapes, I alternate them from day to day. The old Jane Fonda Walkout III allows me to walk 4.25 miles in 60 min., and I love the fact that the last song on the tape is the Hallelujah Chorus!!! By the time I get to that point, I'm ready to sing HALLELUJAH!!! Then, on the next day, I walk to my old Jenny Craig walking tape, which is 3.5 miles in 50 minutes. It's a little slower pace and has a different kind of music than the Jane Fonda tape, so it keeps exercise interesting, and I'm doing it EVERY day.
Today was weigh day, and with all the extra walking (remember....up until about 2 weeks ago, I was walking only 2 miles about 5 days a week), I am seeing changes in my shape. This week, I added an inch in a strategic upper portion of my body (which really needed that help), while at the same time I lost that same amount in my legs. I did not lose any weight, but I am very satisfied with the week's results. The current clothes are beginning to look baggy again (YEA!!!), so may have to do something about that soon
