Overwhelmed and The Rules of SWBM

Don't feel overwhelmed. I think we all felt that way when we first read through the manual. It's very simple, really. The foods are about 70% of your weight loss, so concentrate on that at first. I carried my Fast Track card around with me for about 3 weeks, until I got the "plan" for my body type engraved on my brain!! On your card, are 3 pre-planned meals and one outline for you to use to build your own meal plans from the infinite meal planner (flip chart) in the back of your manual. NEVER use the rapid results meal plans until after the first six weeks, and even then, we've been told not to use more than 2 of them per day.

Here are the rules:

1. Eat nothing pre-packaged.
2. Eat nothing containing preservatives. If you can't pronounce it, you probably can't have it.
3. Cook everything from scratch.
4. Cook enough for a week at a time and build your own TV dinners.
5. Drink your 100 oz. of water daily. No excuses.
6. Eliminate all added salt, sugar, oils, dairy and breads.
7. Eat fresh fruits, veggies, and lean meats
8. Visit the recipe boards and start cooking lots of wonderful things!!
9. Start exercise when you feel you can.
10.When you exercise, be sure you've had your pre-exercise meal beforehand, so that you burn fat and not muscle: your reg. protein, 1 c. carb and 1 c. fruit (in place of breakfast or your snacks if you exercise afterward).
11.Take your supplements (minimally a multi-vitamin/multi-mineral, calcium, and B-complex.
12.Contact me at the address below in my signature to get some really good, tried and true recipes. I'd be glad to email them to anyone.
13.Find a buddy or find a message board to connect with. That is SO important for your success!!
14.Take it one meal at a time.
15.If you slip, just get up and start over again!! This is a for life way of eating, not a diet or a quick fix. It can absolutely change your life!!
16.Read as many profiles as you can of people who have posted on the success and motivation threads.
17.Sit back, relax and have fun.
